Connie was invited to participate in an innovative adventure, combining traditional storytelling with classical music. She collaborated with the acclaimed Kandinsky Trio and Grammy award-winning composer, Mike Reid, to create ‘The Cantankerous Blacksmith.’ Their work is heralded as a masterpiece, blending original chamber music for piano, cello, and violin with the gifted voice of storyteller, Connie Regan-Blake.

Now in their 10th season, Connie and the Kandinsky Trio continue to tour the United States, appearing on concert stages as well as offering district-wide performances for students. Their new CD Tales of Appalachia: Stories and Chamber Music is now available.
