Hans & Connie taking a reading bread
During her library performances and school assemblies,
Connie’s rare talent transforms an ordinary space
into a wondrous landscape and brings children and stories

a bridge between the spoken and written word. From Appalachian
Mountain tales to literary stories and true-life adventures,
Connie’s storytelling helps students develop listening
skills and a passion for reading.

| “Like a great
wise resourceful spider – like Charlotte herself
– Connie spins iridescent filaments of courage,
color, and craftsmanship into a web of literary delight
which first attracts, then ensnares and ultimately
captures the minds and hearts and imaginations of
her listeners.”
