Finding Your Own Voice:
Workshops & Retreats

Stories are a doorway to understanding ourselves, our culture and our world. Connie offers storytelling workshops in Asheville, North Carolina, nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and in various locations around North America.

Everyone is welcome: those curious about storytelling and those who love stories - even those who don't see themselves as creative.  The workshops are designed for a wide range of expertise and are an opportunity for beginners to get a taste of storytelling and for more seasoned tellers to expand their repertoire and refresh their stories.

Connie creates a supportive, playful and challenging atmosphere as she guides you on a journey of finding, celebrating and reclaiming your ‘true voice.'  Along the way, there is practical help for deeper listening and personal enrichment; and for some, finding and polishing stories for telling in the classroom, board room, informal gatherings and on the stage.

“I loved your workshop…It was remarkable…It changed my life!”

- weekend participant, North Carolina

“It was pure joy to share in the experience of this storytelling workshop – to get to know a group of such diverse people, to see each of us struggle with our inhibitions, to hear Connie’s gentle suggestions and to risk letting a little of ‘who we really are’ show in our stories.”
